Selection diversity in general scattering environments

چکیده
We derive an infinite series expression of the average signal-to-noise ratio ( S N R ) gain for a dual selection combining system under Nakagamiln fading using a series representation of the bivariate cumulative probability distribution function. The average S N R gain expression is shown to relate to the Nakagami shape factor m, the power correlation and the power allocation ratio.

Investigation of General and Specific Combining Ability and Genetic Analysis of Different Traits of Bread Wheat under Non-Stress and Drought Stress Conditions
The production of new and compatible cultivars to different environments is one of the most important goals for the breeders. The crossing new cultivars and the selection of superior genotypes for desirable traits among their offspring is a method that has always been used by breeders. 28 genotypes obtained from the crossing of a 7 × 7 one-way diallel experiment consisting of seven parents (Alv...

Estimation of genetic diversity is an important factor in germplasm conservation and characterization. In rice breeding programs, genetic diversity information on specific regions of genome can be very useful for the application of marker assisted selection (MAS) and for gene mapping. A total of 152 rice lines were considered for breeding programs using microsatellites (SSR) technique. The tota...

This paper presents a general formulation to investigate the scattering from Multilayer Lossy Inhomogeneous Metamaterial Planar Structure (MLIMPS) with arbitrary number of layers and polarization. First, the dominating differential equation of transverse components of electromagnetic fields in each layers derived. Considering the general form of solution of the differential equations and the bo...
متن کاملDual Selection Diversity SNR Performance in Spatially Correlated Scattering Environments
A new expression is given for the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a dual selection-combining receiver where the antenna signals are correlated in a Rayleigh fading multipath environment. This formula is based on a recently developed expression for the bivariate Rayleigh cumulative distribution function by associating the correlation parameter of the distribution with the spatial correlat...
متن کاملThe dynamics of diversification in evolving Pseudomonas populations.
Determining the mechanisms that promote the evolution of diversity is a central problem in evolutionary biology. Previous studies have demonstrated that diversification occurs in complex environments and that genotypes specialized on alternative resources can be maintained over short time scales. Here, we describe a selection experiment that has tracked the dynamics of adaptive diversification ...
